Amanda and Matt are two people who just radiate joy, love and fun. Amanda’s whole family came for our first meeting, which rarely happens, but I knew from five minutes into the conversation that I really wanted to photograph this couple’s wedding. Their day and this couple did not disappoint! I stepped around the corner in the basement of the church and there stood Amanda, breathtaking in her wedding gown, lighting up the dark basement with her smile.

Though the weather turned stormy, the joy of this day could not be dampened. The reception at Cloverdale Barn was rustic, warm and personalized to the very last detail. The twinkle lights, woodfired pizza station and home brewed beer with labels featuring their fur-baby made a barn on a very rainy day feel welcoming and quaint. And the Broadway-style performance featuring the bride and her two best friends is one for the record books!

Amanda and Matt, may the joy you felt on this day stay with you throughout the brightest and darkest times in your lives. May you continue to share the love you have for those around you as you take on the world together. Thank you for having my team and I there for your day. I will never forget it!
